Why this work means so much to me...

At 17, I entered the criminal justice system. Nearly a decade later, I emerged committed not just to rebuild but to lead. My lived experience became the foundation for a career dedicated to resilience, equity, and systems transformation.

Today, I partner with states, employers, and workforce systems to design and implement fair-chance hiring strategies, apprenticeship pathways, and talent frameworks that reduce barriers and unlock human potential. I have led workforce equity initiatives within registered apprenticeship systems and state workforce strategy organizations, and I bring seasoned operational insight to organizational transformation.

As a recipient of a full and unconditional gubernatorial pardon in 2022, I bring a unique perspective grounded in both lived experience and professional rigor. Through consulting, speaking, and media, I help organizations rethink how they identify talent, expand access, and build equitable workforce pathways that deliver measurable outcomes.

From correctional facilities to executive boardrooms, second chances can be powerful and strategic levers for growth. Let’s explore how your organization can lead with purpose and unlock opportunity at every level.
